Responsibilities include, but not limited to:Create and maintain global standard documentation for network monitoring platforms and automationPerform onboarding, maintenance and upgrade of Network Management System (NMS) tools and corresponding operating systemsWork with networking teams to ensure monitoring and reporting teams needs are being metSupport automation and custom integrations on NMS toolsProvide expertise in Linux for troubleshooting networking platforms reliant on itExcellent communication skills with ability to convey complex topics into layman terms
Basic Qualifications:5+ years experience installing, configuring, and administering multiple network monitoring tools such as Nagios, Netscout, LogicMonitor etc.3+ years experience working with Splunk and its integrationsProficient in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, PERL, BASH2+ years working with code repositories and deployment tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, etc.Understanding of ITIL and its principles5+ years experience administering Linux/Unix2+ years working with ServiceNow integrations3+ years working within AWS and provisioning services such as EC2s, Lamba, & S3
