PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: · To ensure the department operates efficiently and according to the laid down procedures and policies· Handle guest complaints with patience and tact, refer to senior management if situation demands, make sure that all guest complaints are brought to the notice of the assistant front office manager/ rooms division manager.· To ensure that all rostered staff in the front office are on duty and in proper uniforms in accordance with the procedures outlined in the staff hand book· To liaise with the department head for replacement of any staff who is absent from duty· Hold shift briefings with the front office staff prior to commencement of each shift and ensure staffs are conversant with daily movements, VIP’s and events.· To keep a log of incidents, occurrences in each shift and inform front office manager on a duly basis, follow up areas and outlets are well maintain at all times.· Assist Front Office during busy periods and relieve staff for meal breaks when required.· Check cashier records, balances, adjustments/paid out vouchers· Maintain a close Liaison with security and follow up on irregularities that are reported.· Maximize Hotel occupancy, average room rate and stimulate internal promotions of the Hotels F and B outlets.· Ensure emergency procedures are adhered to in the case of fire, bomb threat, panic alarm and other threats to safety of guests, staff or the Hotel· Inspect rooms allocated for incoming VIP’s to ensure they are set up correctly and be in attendance in the lobby for VIP arrivals· Ensure that guest relations are maintained at the highest standard and the guest requirements are taken care of.· Check through the daily credit limit report and obtain approval from credit card company and highlight potential credit problems to the front office manager. Follow up on directions with regard to guest credit.· Carry out at least two comprehensive room inspection per shift and complete checklist, noting defects or require follow up on housekeeping or maintenance.· Responsible for daily systems maintenance in co-ordination and the EDP manager.· Assist in the training and development of new and existing staff and ensure that a high standard of morale is maintained in the department· Maintain performance standards and provide continuity between shifts in all departments of the front office.To report and health or safety hazards to the Rooms Division ManagerExpected Start Date: 7/1/2022Job Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentSalary: From ₹10,000.00 per monthSchedule:Evening shiftMorning shiftEducation:Higher Secondary(12th Pass) (Preferred)Experience:Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)total work: 4 years (Preferred)Language:Hindi (Preferred)English (Preferred)Work Remotely:No
