RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE :
You will be critical in delivering these activities but not limited to:
General:
Work with accounting staff and brand finance team to ensure month and year end close is completed timely with high degree of accuracy compliant with USGAAP.
Review monthly balance sheets and income statements, ensuring the supporting schedules are complete, accurate, reconciled, substantiated with appropriate supporting and is in conformity with USGAAP.
Ensure the local statutory requirements are met and a detailed reconciliation is prepared between the USGAAP books and the local statutory books
Daily management:
Manage and provide inputs to accounting staff on the day to day operations to ensure adherence to SOPs, KTB Policies and process.
Constantly work on improving and streamlining internal accounting processes and bringing efficiencies by implementing operational best practices.
Internal Control, Compliance and Audit:
Establish a strong internal control environment and escalate frauds, thefts, stock losses etc. in a timely manner, through the KTB compliance reporting channels.
Ensure the external statutory audits are completed on time and within the agreed upon scope.
Work closely with the internal audit group. Facilitate audit/SOX field work and work towards closing all open internal audit points ahead of the agreed deadline.
Other(SAP, Treasury, Tax and other touch points):
Oversee the completeness of the year end ‘tax stream’ input and the work closely with Asia tax department and third-party consultants (where appropriate) on direct/indirect tax matters.
Ad-hoc financial analysis in support of new initiatives or changes to existing policies.
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

Skills:
Very good knowledge of Excel, SAP,USGAAP
Experience:
8+ years in Accounting, preferably trained in the big 4 accounting firms.
Language Proficiency:
fluent in English and Mandarin
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Degree Held: CPA or University Degree
Subject Expert In: Accounting/Finance
SPECIFIC WORKING CONDITIONS if any
Include but not limited to
Frequency of Travel : less than 10%
