Responsibilities
Perform monthly, quarterly and yearly accounting activities including reconciling credit cards, bank accounts and generating financial reports as required.
Budget preparation and analysis.
Run payroll, contractor / vendor payments and reimbursement for expenses.
Generate invoices and track invoice payments.
Initial research for tax credits / liability and interface with external firm to facilitate tax preparation, regulatory compliance and annual audits.
Identify areas where spending can be optimized.
Prepare calendars, checklists and reports for tax and statuatory compliance.
Help set up / optimize all the above reporting processes.
Requirements
B.Com. / M. Com. degree.
3+ years experience with book-keeping, invoicing and other accounting functions.
Ability to adapt and execute in a fast moving environment.
Must be comfortable making changes to work based on layered feedback.
Self-motivated and able to work independently, with excellent time management skills and a strong work ethic.
Excellent English communication skills.
Nice to have
Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.
Knowledge of US accounting practices.
