Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
17 years of experience as an HR Business Partner
Experience in project management and operations

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in a global/regional role in HR and/or consulting in the tech industry.
Experience with high-impact strategic change management/organizational design.
Ability to analyze data, understand trends, and develop recommendations for action based on analysis
Effective consulting and mentoring skills, with the ability to build relationships with leaders and stakeholders across all levels, functions, and geographies to drive organizational change
Understanding of strategy and execution
Comfortable completing tasks and projects while being part of complex strategy discussions

Our team is a part of the Business HR team. People Partners on the team act as the HR leads for the assigned business portfolio and are the strategic partners supporting business leaders and their teams. We are also the advisors within the APAC region to our respective global leadership and Business HR teams. We consult and partner with cross-functional People Operations teams in areas such as Organization Effectiveness, Leadership, Talent Management, Change Management, and other HR programs. We develop strategies and solutions in support of business plans, while ensuring unwavering commitment to a more diverse, equitable, accessible, and inclusive Google.
Great just isn’t good enough for our People Operations team (known elsewhere as “Human Resources”). We bring the world’s most innovative people to Google and provide the programs that help them thrive. Whether recruiting the next Googler, refining our core programs, developing talent, or simply looking for ways to inject some more fun into the lives of our Googlers, we bring a data-driven approach that is reinventing the human resources field. You’ll play an essential role advancing a more diverse, accessible, equitable, and inclusive Google through our hiring, promotion, retention, and inclusion practices.


Consult with the leadership team to create a comprehensive people strategy to support the business and influence lasting change. Act as a trusted advisor and mentor to leadership, and play a critical role in enhancing their effectiveness.
Offer thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution. Provide insightful data and proactive solutions to guide decision making.
Ensure that the organization is structured in a way that helps achieve business objectives. Manage talent effectively and enable business leaders to develop an effective leadership pipeline.
Work in partnership with People Development, Staffing, Diversity, Compensation, Benefits, and People Services Operations teams to provide valuable support, programs, and developmental offerings to Googlers.
Communicate on regional and global priorities/activities and serve as a consultant for regional changes.
