Job Description
• The primary responsibility is to work on the existing or new Incidents, Service requests and Tasks
Escalation point for L1 and triage the unresolved incidents or Requests to L3Constantly communicates with L1 and L3 associates across the various towers
Process
Day to day Operational issues, requests and Project tasksIncident response and resolution within SLA’s with good analytical and troubleshooting skillsEscalating to L3 engineers to avoid the SLA breach for high priority incidentsProviding all the necessary details to L3 about the issue, steps taken, recommendation and any other relevant informationTicket Status Check and UpdateRespond to False Positive AlertsIncident Escalation and Progress MonitoringUse the available monitoring tools during the maintenance activities (scheduled or unscheduled) to suppress the alerts, collect information for troubleshootingCreate, review, update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures.Perform the Shift handovers

Assist L3 engineers to Install, Configure and Maintain IBM, HP and Dell HardwareCheck Hardware Components Status and logs using management utilities

Skills
• Windows:
o Installed, Configured, maintained and have done troubleshooting of Windows Server operating systems
o Added and removed Windows server features and roles such as Terminal servers (RDS), DNS, DHCP, etc.…
o Done troubleshooting using Performance Monitor or any other tools, Event Viewer and Task Manager
• VMWare: Created Virtual Machine, performed cloning, created and deleted snapshots, added and removed hardware resources on GuestOS
• Hardware: Configured and performed basic troubleshooting of RAID (Software and hardware) and comfortable using disk management tools
