The Project Management and Support (PM&S) department is part of Philips Engineering Solutions and is responsible to provide optimal conditions for all Engineering Solutions project managers and Business Engagement to execute and monitor their projects efficient and effective. The Business Support office is part of PM&S organization and responsible for the operational end-2-end support of all Engineering Solutions departments (MMD, ES, TEG, I2M, Platforms) around the globe. You will be working closely with the BSO team that consists of about 13 people and is located in the Netherlands and Germany.

In each phase of the innovation process, we can offer the appropriate high-tech service-combination to help our customers’ innovations go to market, fast and efficiently. They can also choose just one specific competence or facility that fits their immediate need. What’s more, we can help them improve processes with our hands-on consultancy, especially in lean innovation, lean manufacturing, as well as environmental and safety, including compliance.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following
You have a bachelor’s degree preferably in business administration or business economics, or similar level through on-the-job experience.
You have a minimum 2-3 years of (relevant) work experience.
You’re a self-starter and capable of independent decision making.
You have ability to process large volume data and translate this into meaningful management information.
You’re experienced with Clarity and SAP (or similar) MRP system.
You have strong excel skills are needed for this function.
You have strong affinity with processes, tools & systems.
You have good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
You have a strong drive to deliver high quality work and you operate in accurate and structured way.
You are a team player.
You have personal characteristics such as pro-activeness, service-oriented and taking ownership.
“Lean” knowledge and experience is a plus.
You are fluent in English.
Activities involved:
Project creation and maintenance in Clarity and SAP.
Clarity user/resource maintenance.
Reporting on timesheets.
Creation of SFDC customer accounts.
Creation of SFDC/SOFON user accounts.
Standard report creation.
Initiate and lead small-scale continuous improvement projects involving, using the LEAN tool-kit.
