This is a critical role with mission of growing business for Akzonobel Powder Coating in India. This position requires the ability work both independently and as part of an integrated team. He/She will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, ensuring a smooth sales process and being able to close sales and meet targets.
Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
Understanding customers’ needs and identifying sales opportunities.
Answering potential customers’ questions and sending additional information
Keeping up with product and service information and updates.
Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers to close sales and achieve sales target.
Explaining and demonstrating features of products and services.
Upselling products and services, route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
Price approval as matrix with Vol, Val, GC%
Customer segmentation approval
Create lead, opportunity, account in CRM system
Proven inside sales experience or experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position preferred.
Track record of over-achieving target
Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
Proficient with SEO and web presentation tools
Experience working with MS or similar CRM
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Strong listening and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
BA/BS degree or equivalent
English is must and Chinese speaking is plus
