A SEO Specialist is responsible for helping to generate organic traffic sourced leads by executing search engine optimization campaigns for the Kaseya website and the websites of Kaseya-owned properties. To be successful, you’ll require a keen understanding of how to recognize SEO opportunities and develop appropriate optimization strategies to maximize organic visibility and potential for gaining converting traffic. To start, you must have a sound knowledge of SEO fundamentals including both on-page and off-page strategy, content marketing optimization, and technical optimization best practices. In addition, you must effectively work with a distributed marketing team across offices and time zones in North America, Ireland, and India and contribute to the marketing team’s daily, weekly, and quarterly traffic & lead goals.
Increase the quantity and quality of organic traffic sourced leads via improved SEO tactics and campaigns.
Take ownership of organic search optimization results for your assigned product(s) or business unit(s).
What You’re Accountable For:
On-page & off-page, marketing & technical optimization of both existing and newly produced content. You will be the owner of campaigns designed to optimize existing assets and will be in charge of providing optimization guidance as new assets are produced.
Organic Traffic Growth
Improved organic traffic trends resulting from optimization of key website assets such as Product Pages, Blogs, and Resources. You will be expected to execute on agreed upon strategies and offer new suggestions for improvement.
Organic MQL (Marketing Qualified Leads) Contribution
Contribute to MQL production by helping drive ToFu (Top of Funnel) traffic that can be retargeted via digital mediums (paid search, paid social, display) and improving organic visibility for converting pages.
Short Term: Optimize existing assets as part of a top-to-bottom SEO audit for all web properties.
Mid Term: Help implement and establish productive SEO processes throughout the organization.
Long Term: Introduce new SEO campaigns and strategies to maximize returns on organic traffic.
Keyword & User Intent Research: Conduct research as necessary to uncover optimal keywords & phrases to target. In addition, understand what to look for and how to recognize key pain points and questions of interest to address.
Audit Primary Assets: Thoroughly review primary site sections for optimized on-page elements and adjust to align with desired keywords & structure as necessary.
Content Pruning: Evaluate existing content to determine past & future SEO viability on basis of optimal structure, current relativity, organic search performance, and link equity.
Evaluate Linking Deficiencies: Use crawler tools to map website’s internal & external linking profile, assess 3XX / 4XX / 5XX errors for cleanup or removal, discover redirect loops, and other detrimental linking errors.
Perform Manual Updates: Work directly within WordPress environments to optimize on-page elements such as header tags and alt text, update internal & external links, change publication & indexability statuses, and populate meta information.
Competitive Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of competitors to reveal content gaps and missed opportunities that can help improve organic standing.
Website Health Evaluation: Utilize SEO tools to monitor & discover issues such as duplicate content, canonical redirects, orphaned pages, internal linking & link reclamation opportunities.
Maintenance: Consistent review of existing & newly created assets to ensure proper SEO optimization practices and considerations.
Skills / Experience Needed:
Fluency in English (interpret subtle differences, understand humor, and speak clearly)
Experience using SEO analytics and reporting tools such as Keyword Planner, Moz, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, and Screaming Frog
Experience working directly within WordPress CMS and Microsoft Word & Excel
5yrs+ direct SEO experience with focus on both content-marketing and technical best practices
