YOUR ROLE
R2R Process Finance & Accounting, is a core function of the business that requires talents to manage business accounting from its basic entry to analytical process upto financial reporting. This role will support team manager to monitor Governance & Control of all financial transactions on daily basis along with transforming the process through identification of automation opportunities.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Be in charge of the accuracy and timeliness on related data checking and posting.
Ensure month end close is performed on time with high quality.
Closure of books will also include monetary revaluation of closing balances & interfacing with HFM tool for strategic analysis.
To closely follow up on balance sheet reconciliation items and perform the control requirement to ensure a clean book, and raise the red flags to next level leader timely
Handling Record To Report (R2R) Process for 5 African Entities
Conducts reviews and quality checks of financial data submitted by entities
Journal posting is key task to perform on daily basis. Responsible for timely recording of JVs by following up with Entities.
Perform GL Vs SL reconciliation on monthly basis & ensure to clear discrepancies with support from Finance Controllers
Verification of Fixed Asset register, Bank reconciliations, loan statements and maintenance of documents relating to RTR process
Support teams with JDE related issues by coordinating with IT team
Maintain property/lease database and update in ANAPLAN tool which enables movement & provisioning as per IFRS 16
Preparation of Group overdue reports and update in HFM
Performs other duties as assigned by Reporting Manager
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
University degree in Accounting/Finance.
Minimum 2-3 years of R2R experience -good knowledge
Self-starter who can work independently under minimum supervision
Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure. Additional knowledge of other languages is beneficial
Able to work in a matrix organization and in an international environment
Result and quality oriented with high sense of urgency.
High engagement and team spirit can well participate team activities.
Skilled use of office software, such as advanced excel etc.
JDE Experience would additional advantage
