TJob Description Role/Title: Team Lead (502) Job Description As a Transaction Processing Manager, you’ll be responsible for the operational management and control of the daily workflow within Asset Servicing, as well as Corporate Action and Income Activities. Responsibilities: • Manage the workflow through the life cycle of Corporate Action and Income Activities • Ensure Supervisory checks and controls are performed on timely and accurate basis • Ensure all daily controls and processing are completed and signed off, including client service inquiry resolution, cash and stock break, and event management, as well as all key metrics are produced as required • Continued review of content and presentation of Standard Operating Procedures, in line with new policies and ongoing risk management activities This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: • Financial Services background within Custody or Investment Bank environment with 5+yrs of experience in Asset Servicing / Securities Operations background. • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or equivalent • Operational subject matter expertise in Reconciliation, Settlements, Trade Support, Asset Servicing, Risk and Control, and Custody • Flexibility to work in Shifts as per business requirement • Team player & Ability to provide supervisory coverage • Strong ability to learn ongoing stream of new markets, products, and processes • Strong risk and control awareness, including the ability to effectively prioritize workloads and work to critical deadlines. Ensure adherence to relevant policies and procedures for self and team. • Confident communicator in all mediums with both internal teams and external counterparties • Display ability to identify and implement process improvements and functional consistency • Must have good knowledge of Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Working knowledge of Alteryx / Tableau will be an added advantage Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge Knowledge and Experience Required: • Graduate/Post Graduate • Knowledge of financial instruments and their accounting treatment is a plus • Meticulous attention to detail • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment • Client focused • Uses initiative & readily questions • Strong analytical skills • Control orientated • Proficiency with computers • Exhibits a ‘can do’ attitude • Good written & spoken English communication skills • Ability to partner effectively with peers, colleagues and clients • Time management and organizational skills • Degree in related technical area (such as Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Sciences or Business) advantageous but not essential. • Qualification involving financial instruments beneficial.
